Girls Get Away August 2008

My sister mother and I went on a getaway va-cay during the Labor Day weekend. I navigated us up to South Hampton where my mother had planned and booked our vacation at a bed and breakfast called Shanty Breezes B&B (or something like that) When we got there we were surprised to find out that we would be stay in the Cottage behind the B&B

One Year!

I got a lot done this past year
I taught my self how to knit
I've made:
1 poncho
4 hats
12 scarfs
1 purse
AND
1/2 a tank top
plus i have increased my stash substantially taught 5 other people how to knit and k-i-p'ed as much as possible.
knitting has gotten me through some tough times and also helped passed the long summers days.
im looking forward to a new season of new w-i-p, projects and new friends <3

An Act of Charity

So I sponsored two little girls

from two very different places

Beti who is from 

Malawi Africa

and is 6-7 year old

                         

                

And 

Myagmarsuren

who is one year older

then Beti and live in a 

country called Mongolia

which is 

in 

between 

Russia and China.

Because of me Beti and Myagmarsuren will get to go to school

 they'll have clean water,food and health care 

and hopefully i will be able to make there lives happy

 and help them take a turn for the better.

Youth Events!

My Youth group has been awesome this summer!

• I went hiking,swimming and cave spalunking July 9 at Kelso Park
  
• July 16 was a campover and drive in theater at my church

(Adam west batman!)

• July 23rd was canada's wonderland form8am-12 midnight 

(lol more like 1am)

• I missed mini golf & game night on July 30th
• And i had to work Aug 6 which was beach day at Grand Bend

(but my sister had fun)

• Aug 13 is hamilton outreach day
• Aug 20 is the great Car rally
• And Aug 27 is  Toronto out reach day

long time no see eh?

It been a while hasn't it?

I've been so busy this summer between my job,Friends Drama,Family Drama life  i just haven't 

 had anytime to update my blog

Im not even knitting as much as I  did.

My favorite LYS closed shop 

It was called  the cloth and clay and it had the most wonderful yarn from every where and any 

where possible. So needless to say i stocked up  on  all the goodies that were price at 50% off!

I didn't go to summer school this year so ive been working out of a english work book instead

It a pain but part of my agree-ment with my parents. I also have to lose 10 pound by the end of the summer or i'll be kicked out... yikes!

Stressful i know >.<

My  life doesn't make alot of cents to me right now. I 'feel like i'm  in a cloud of confusing and hazy-ness and i can get out.

And i still have to start up a Stich N bitch before school starts. AHHHHHHH

I can do it all though if i put my mind to it.
