Sri Lanka aka: My Room

its location in the path of major sea routes, Sri Lanka is a strategic naval link between West Asia and South East Asia

Yep that basically sums up the state of my floors right now.

A major sea rout from my broken air conditioner tearing apart my wooden floors ruining my clothing and art oh the art in naval style.

I swear my room looks like a bunch of third world horders had a party in it.

all I need is some mosquito and my room would be Sri Lanka

So on the weekend they came in an ripped out all of my ruined floor boards,

and once they had left,

the a/c started to leak again so i have a massive watering hole in my room.

I moved my bed to the dinning room and am sleeping next to the kitchen FYI.

Monday the a/c people came in and fixed the unit.

And Wednesday they are coming back to finally fix my floor so that i can reclaim my room back <3

I feel like a refugee displaced in my own apartment.

London bridge is burning down

Riots broke out in north London on Saturday night as a peaceful march to denounce the police shooting of a young man erupted into vandalism and looting.

Two police patrol cars, a van, a building and a double-decker bus were torched in the neighbourhood of Tottenham, as rioters clashed with officers in front of the local precinct and stores were looted and set ablaze.

The melee followed a peaceful march to the station to protest against the fatal shooting of Mark Duggan, 29, a father of four who was riding in a taxi on Thursday when he apparently became involved in a gunfight with police.

I know the new is saying that it is because it is in a area of racial tension,

because there is a population that lives there that has a history of violence and anti police nature.

But i believe its more then that.

what about the economy?

People cant find jobs.

There pissed at the govenment for not doing anything.

If you cant fight the government and you are the poor who do you back lash at?

the middle class.

because there is no one else to take your anger out on.

Its never about a guy getting shot.

that was just the broken lock on the door that opened and gave way to people expressing how they really feel.

I don't agree with there actions.

But i do believe that there is more then anti police and race issues contributing to these riots.
