Mac knapping

So im taking my fellow on a adventure! and he has no idea where we are going >.<
from the hours of 12-9pm >-<
i'm taking him to
  •  Starbucks for a drink
  • Then we re going to dooley's to shoot some pool
  • looking around uptown KW
  • Going out of Dim Sum <----- which he has never been to ever:p 
  • Then we're going back to his place for video games movies and these.....

thats right

im making him fudge cupcakes 
with butter cream icing!
Way less expensive then buying a cake 
and im making 19 of them  because he's going to be 19.

FUDGE CUPCAKES 

1 3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 c. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. all-purpose flour
4 squares semi-sweet chocolate

Combine sugar, flour and eggs. Blend, do not beat. Melt chocolate and butter in saucepan. Combine chocolate mixture, flour mixture and vanilla. Do not beat. Pour into paper lined muffin cups. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes. Yield: 2 dozen.

BUTTER CREAM FROSTING:

1 lb. Domino confectioners' sugar
1/4 lb. (1/2 c.) soft butter
1//8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
3-4 tbsp. milk

Cream 1/3 sugar with butter and salt in large bowl. Blend extract, 2 tablespoons milk and remaining sugar into mixture. Gradually add remaining milk to bring frosting to desired consistency.

Canada Day!


So I decided to make cupcakes for my friends Canada day celebration.
I made 28 of them  and it was load of fun making baking and decorating them:)






Making cupcakes is awesome 
because their cute fun to make and at the end you can eat them!
Unlike a scarf or hat >->



These were home make,
                                                    I used white icing and swedish berries 
          to decorate them in a red white theme 
                                                    for Canada Day
